Sunlit Woodland by David Hodges
This picture was taken at Cantoneign Falls in Devon, south west England and just within the bounds of Dartmoor National Park. The attraction of this scene to me was the play of bright summer sunlight penetrating through the leafy canopy into the shadows below. I don’t think I have ever seen so many different shades of green ‘far more than was captured here in the picture’, still I gave it my best shot.
Picture taken at Wells Cathedral, Somerset in the UK. I believe that this is probably one of the UKs finest cathedrals and is particularly photogenic due to the light coloured stone used in its construction as it always seems to reflect plenty of light no matter what the weather.
Submerged Fence Posts by David Hodges
I don’t really know why I saw this picture other than its pure simplicity. It was taken at Snettisham wild bird reserve, Norfolk on the east coast of England.
